hi - can someone out there with superior scripting skills than me help me out with this:
first off I have a series of thumbnails on a page that i want the user to click on to pop up a window that centres on the screen at 90% the height of the screen and 50% the width.
secondly, the window which is popped will be of a page with a big version of the thumbnail, i need a script or something that will scale the pic proportionally so that it fills the window as much as it can with out distorting....
I have seen a few scripts around that do similar stuff to this but i cant work out how to combine them / tweak them to do what i want.
If you can help me out I'll buy you a pint (via paypal)
cheers

it's simple to adjust if you have some basic knowledge of js.
trickiest part is getting the monitor/display size.. here's how: http://www.quirksmode.org/viewpo…
then set the position of your pop-up to 50% of the displaysize (minus) 50% of the width (or height) of the pop-up.

thanks again. unfortunately my knowledge of js doesn't stretch that far - that's why i'm on the scrounge ;)
