anyone know of a publicly accessible resource for apparel color palette predictives?
something which predicts what colors will be hot in the next season?

Never heard of such a thing. Companies usually build think tanks of people to meet together and predict this stuff. Years ago I met a woman from the Pantone Institute who belonged to thinks tanks in the textile industry.

pantone publish an annual fashion forecast but its usually pretty mainstream and obviously geared to sell their most recent color books. plus there are other reports that cost a small fortune to subscribe to.
i prefer to just keep a check on streetwear & fashion blogs.

i'd normally just snoop around melrose or beverly center to see what's on the shelves right now, but the colors out at any moment are already outdated
people are already working on designs with different palettes like two seasons ahead
i just did a ton of research on my own and i think i have a good handle on what works now and will work in the near future (for my target demographic)
