Hi,
Joining the army so I need to make a *gif that counts down the days, lets say starting from 180 (days) to 0, but it needs to change exactly in every 24 hours, just like a counter.
I need it to upload it to Myspace profile pic, otherwise it would be easy to do it in flash.
I can do the design, I just need to know how I can get it count down one more day every 24 hours.
Can anyone help?

ImageReady only lets you give a maximum delay of 240 seconds so you'd need 360 frames with 240 second delays just to make 1 day. That'd be 64800 frames for 180 days. I doubt an animated gif would go to that many frames and it'd probably take 180 days just to make it...

easiest solution could quite possibly be just changing your myspace image each day to show a different number.

I though that joining the army has to be the single daftest idea at the moment.
I was wrong, it's trying to make an animated GIF dynamic, joining the army is only the second daftest thing.

you may want to look into clock scripts that display as an image, though i don't know how that will play with myspace.
maybe start here:
