Bit of a stupid question but, whats the easy way of actually highlighting text in apps like Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator etc...
The same effect as the a:hover on the NT headlines but for print/

create colored box, place behind text

triple click on the text?

I normally fake it with a rectangle behind (or on top with multiply) the text. Sorry if that's no help.

select text, change color, add underline?

Ok, cool just wondering if there was an accurate way of doing it rather then by eye with drawing boxes.
Think I'l try V4's underline method and set the underline really big.

YEAH IT WORKS!!! Thanks v4.
One more question while were on the subject of typography tricks. Like the box effect is there an accurate way/rule or technique for setting text to exactly half or double the size and still be aligned to the same baseline. I tried the Superscript option but that doesn't work very well. Also tried aligning to baseline grid but setting the grid in preferences is a pain in the ass. Any ideas? sorry to be a pain! :0)
