Have any friends who out of the blue drop something on you in an obvious attempt to impress you, but when you get a little more information out of them it's obvious what they're doing?
Someone who doesn't know the first thing about web design or any software to do so just told me "I can't get together tonight, I have to do an errand and do some web design for someone."
Web Design, eh? A thing this person knows ZERO about.
I didn't even ask for details besides "what else do you have to do?" and the reply was simply:
"Such and such is paying me to set up his myspace page."
LMAO. Rant over.

Guys, trust me, whatever this guy does it will be atrocious. I've seen a page he set up before I had to point out that the deepest red color available for text over a black background wasn't "cool and artistic" as he intended, and was instead "unreadable and shit."

He was totally doing it to try and get me to say something, I know it, to try and get me to go "web design? you don't know the first thing about that!"
But it got me to thinking: where would you even start these days if you:
1) Had no idea how to use any design software
2) Had no idea about any sort of coding, HTML, anything at all.Where would you start? If he were really interested I would try and point him to some valuable things.
