Hey coming out to Colorado Springs to visit my parents in August, 19-26. My wife and I want to go to Denver for a day...so wondering what you guys suggest to see in Denver or anywhere else in that area.
cheers,

I would have to say that Denver, CO is the most PVN'd city.
With perhaps London coming in second. I understand London being up there, but Denver [e.g.cow town]?

I heard CPB is giving FREE tours because they have so much extra space in their Denver offices now...

(Jul 24 07, 11:09)Haha. My gf just left that company, so it's funny to me for many many reasons.

Denver's not a cow town. It's the hub between L.A, Chicago, and New York. In my opinion there is a ton of cool stuff going on here right now.
Bukka - What type of stuff are you looking to do? Landmarks etc?

bring sunscreen and a cowboy hat.
let us know what you are into and we will customize your visit - i will get an intern to drive you around.

CP&B don't have Denver offices - they are in Boulder...

I will be in Denver the weekend of October 21st for the Steeler/Bronco game!
jevad, are there any good places to catch English Football?
Arsenal plays at 7 or 8AM Denver time on Saturday, and I was hoping that there might be some kind of bar open to catch it at.
:D

jerome - tell me where you are sitting for the steelers game - i will have a surprise for you at halftime.

do you want to do something in town or outside, like go to a great trail?
there's a ton of stuff to do here so it depends on what you're up for

Hahah, can I guess what it is?

(Jul 24 07, 12:32)uh oh, are you doing that "going commando" bit and dropping trou at inopportune times again?
;)

it involves 6 cups of coors light, 16" of rubber hose, 5 yards of duct tape, 12 cherry jolly ranchers, forceps, a mini football, and miles the mascot.

... That sounds troubling to be quite honest, haha.
I got my ticket the other day (plane) and I will be there Friday morning, until Monday afternoon. Game tickets go on sale the 28th I believe.
Not exactly sure how many people are coming, but I think at least 4 of my douchebag friends thus far.
I'll let you know more information when I get it, so you can slit my throat in an alley and leave me for dead, haha.
- spendogg0
well jerome if you must know - the beers are for you and your douchebags. the rest of the stuff are things miles needs to get me out on the field for halftime.

thanks spendogg & sputnik
I know we may go to Royal Gorge, Garden of the Gods in CSprings, New Belgium and O'dells in Fort Collins one of the days but we are open to both city and outdoor things... we love both.
Any good museums? Shopping? I am open to hear about good trails to go to also.
cheers,

right on jev, the DAM is a nice place to start. if you want to have dinner at an interesting place downtown (and aren't vegan or vegetarian) you should try:
it's a denver classic and you can try all types of game. it's one of those places everyone goes to with visiting relatives...you get the idea.
i also recommend hiking around the red rocks area if the weather is nice. there are some dinosaur tracks in the area which is always fun for kids.
