Recycled Look

Hi all,
Looking to get some biz cards done that have the look and feel of those labels that you get on new jeans:
it seems like a recycled look, is this something that look wise is brought on by the paper stock, or, type aside, is it something that you will need to work in photoshop.
p.s. anyone know where I can print business cards from a similar stock?
Thanks

yes distress and texture your art in PS or AI.
if you want it to look authentic print w/ spot colors on a recycled stock or chipboard.
make sure to use PMS uncoated swatches and consider the ink will print darker over off-white, or much darker on chipboard.
or if you're on a budget you could print cmyk and replicate an old paper color and texture in PS. not gonna have the same "feel" tho.

yeah, great idea, with horton though, would be a nightmare for me, looking at around 1,000 cards to start with.
In terms of emulating in PS, I'd prefer to go for the authentic look and feel.
Can anyone recommend any UK printers companies in the UK who have the type of stock.

any small/med/large offset printer should be able to get a recycled stock or chipboard.
but @1000 units you should get to know a small local printer.. alwats a good professional relationship to start building.
and not really something you would order with an online print order.. those tend to all be 4c cmyk bulk printshops.

Cheers for the advice, I was thinking the same thing.
I think a visit to the printers may be in order.
Thanks

i got a pretty good look by printing out the type in black and white. Crumpling up the paper and scanning it.
