I was in my best friend's wedding and he got us all flasks with our initials on them. They aren't the normal fat ones, but slim and tall for an inside coat pocket, haha. Vuhr nice (I of course have since lost mine).

My gift to him was saying no to being his best man, showing up 2 hours late to his house to get ready, and a slew of other great things that come with being my best friend, haha.

I would add condoms to that list, and no mobile phone.
The groom should have a good happy champagne buzz going before he walks down the aisle. Loosen him up a bit even if it doesn't seems like he needs it.

I'm getting married Sept. 1st and want to buy a gift for my groomsmen to say thanks. I'm looking for some cool ideas that aren't too expensive.

got them for a steal off of overstock.com. had to buy 11 cause i wanted one for myself. the colors of the bridesmaids dresses was apple, and i found the prada watch on there that was really close to the dress color, and since i was the only guy wearing the apple vest (the rest of them were in silver) the watch was a good compliment to the dresses.
the guys LOVED them and wear the watch all the time. not cause they feel obligated to but because it's really fuckin cool.
i was also thinking of a pocket watch. i mean really, most of my friends are in their 30s and we've all been in about 5 weddings now each. so we all have about 3 flasks and 3 pocket knives each.
i bought my best man who's big into golf a odessy putter.
