I am having problem positioning the search box. It seems to be working good in FF but in IE6 it goes all wack.
Any hints on how I could wrap it all real tight! :P

..just use a real simple table.
Whats with the 575px left margin for the searchsys ?
Can't you just float: right that ?
IE gets awfully confused about margins and padding, although ironically it gets this strictly counterintuitively right according the w3c on may occaisions, in the style of a stopped clock twice a day.
Shit like this just isnt worth chasing for hours - stick it in a table, life's too short..might be slightly more code, customer doesnt care, clients dont care, it's quick, it looks right and it works..

mikotondria2.
yeah well the margin was so the div will align 575px from the left border of the div.
You are right sometimes u have to use tables even though we might feel 'dirty'. But yeah we know IE n its rendering!
I did tried the float:right; n it seems to work.
Thanks!

yay, you're very welcome numero1.
I actually feel useful and accomplished now, fullfilling a more positive role on NT rather than my semi-weekly rants about theology, music or racism. Hit that beat, black Jesus.
