Hello Folks, any of you lot used the emusic free mp3 offer?
do they sting you, i know with the britannia cd thing (which seems similar) they make it a nigtmare to leave, easy to get in but impossible to get out...
just wondered if emusic was the same?

I have used emusic for a couple months, and its a great deal. I spend $10 a month and get 30 downloads, DRM free.
They don't have mainstream music as much as itunes, but I don't listen to that stuff anyways. If you can find bands on there you like, its worth it. Oh yeah you can download it more than once too...

No shenanigans there. if ou want to leave they don't play you out.

I've been using it for a year or so--it's great if you like lots of relatively obscure music, like I do

I don't know about getting out, I love it too much to want to leave. :)

The emusic trial is completely safe. As long as you remember to cancel in time there are no problems. But it is actually worth subscribing to.
The worst lock-in scumsuckers that have tried to trap me on a free trial account are audible.com.
