I like the delivery, simple/ new the opening/closing & dark w/ summer colors you use was something i had planned on redesigning into justingum. no i need now. something different for me it seems. nice.

thanks version5. i like your site too, nice work. what font are you using for your titles? it looks very different and clean.

Nice site. I like your about section. It's honest, interesting, and gives a good impression of you.
Great work too and love how the site works. Bookmarked for posterity in my graphic design links!

Nice site.
It seems to be cluttered, but I think it's just the variety of colour you use in your projects.
I also had a similar navigation on an older version of my site. Simple and good way to present your work.

(forget my "cluttered" remark; I didn't explain it well)

a good start i think mate. if i were you i'd maybe tone down the colours a bit in the info/text, as there is a lot of colour in your work.
good stuff.

If I had to show a US portfolio site then this would be it.
Header grphic is WAAAAAYYYY too big.
Like the nav but not immediately obvious.
and
"Always frozen, never fresh" – Very cheesy.
Bit bored of one pagers now
Work is OK though

is that a picture of yourself on the self-promo stuff? if so, you should be a model and not in design, if it's not you, then why is she there? What are you trying to say? Or do you just like making images with slutty white girls... When I was young I enjoyed it as well, no shame in being lame..
Anyhow, you've done some decent commercial work, and the site is easy enough to digest...

lose the cheesy "never frozen always fresh"
(also surely it would be the other way round... always fresh never frozen)??
it doesnt loook to me like ur trying to actually how your work...
your spreads are tiled and hidden behind the front spread..
ur fn books are piled up.. and i get no indication of layout, type, etc
the bottom work isnt as good as the stuff up top... either remov it or figure out a different order.. cause at the mo, it starts off ok.. and fades away..
(also im more interested inseeing the layout of the type images etc on ur layouts that i am interested in wether they are reflected underneath..)

Yep that header is well cheesy! work is okay, don't like the illustrations!

The header is something that I plan on rotating every so often so it doesn't get stale. It's not me, it's just some personal projects I've been working on, and yes, I love slutty white girls, who doesn't?
Some of the new work is still to new to get into the details, like the Gravis work, so I chose to not show the detailed shots of it yet. I'll have that updated soon though.
My work is in chronological order, separated into commercial and personal works, at the moment. The older projects on the bottom were just things that I did in earlier years. It may not be on the same level as some of the current work, but I thought I'd throw it in there to just show some of the work that I've done and can do and provide a more conservative style if thats what clients are looking for. It's good to show a diverse portfolio, is it not?
Anyway, from the consensus, I think this layout works well for showcasing, besides the large cheesy header graphic. I'll work on that. Thanks for the crit and great suggestions, everyone.

You have some good work there mate. I like the site, it is straight forward, you get to see your work straight away, and it is easy too navagate.
