that genius vs. crime bit is horseshit. Sure, there are plenty of creative/intelligent people who have prolific output at an early age and then fizzle, but what about Monet? Zdislaw Beksinski? Doyald Young? Rick Valicenti? Michael C. Place? Vince Frost? Da Vinci? Galileo? Robert Rauschenberg? Ed Ruscha? Robert Frost? Seamus Heaney? Those guys all did/do get better with age.
