Move for the summer?
- Jaline0
unless you're talking about a tour or something...
- vespa0

- madirish0
one of my clients has been saying the exact same thing.
she is sick of it.
- Jaline0
I never thought I'd say this...but...
It's warm here in Canada. Come!

crazy thunder & lightning in west london. poor wimbledon!
- Nairn0
Yup, I'm just now hearing yet more thunder peeling away from the West country somewhere.
It's July, it's driech and it's most certainly not right.
Oh! and look at that - forked lightning. Great.

I've just been standing on the roof here watching a green cloud advancing accross central london spitting fork lightning.
I call the end of days.

I'm off walking in the Lake District on Thursday.
I intend to climb Scafell Pike whatever the fuck the weather is doing.

Ah skt.
Where are you?Fancy a beer tonight? Or I'll see you next week... I gonna miss that free bar :(
- Nairn0
Please let us know how you get on, Moth - a group of us are planning on doing Scafell Pike later on this summer.
You back already, skt? LOL nice timing :)
- ********0
Well I've done it before Nairn.
Ran out of water.

welcome back, paul.
jesus, in this weather i dread the journey home. oxford street, umbrellas, argh.
- lowimpakt0
rain can fuck off
- kelpie0
up here we're just getting even crazier weather, which means tropical downpour for an hour (rather than constant insidious drizzle), then blazing sunshine for a few hours. rinse and repeat.
weird, but I will admit to some well earned smugness that we're definitely having a better summer than the south of England. Long may global warming continue it.
Get it round ye's. no offence.
- vespa0
hey it's sunny again! sorta. only the pressure is super weird. i feel like i'm in a plane.
- kelpie0
not wearing a lot of metal are you?
- Nairn0
I take it you're going camping, then doing the Big Walk - do you have any other plans whilst you're up there?
I'm really looking forward to our jaunt - I've never 'done' the Lake District before, despite having been brought up 80 miles away..
