it fucking sucks when a client wants a website developed, but their logo is complete trash and they're 100% against changing it, and layout concepts that would otherwise look great are tarnished by the completely conflicting logo and simply do not work whatsoever. one bad logo = one bad seed, website = mr. suckpants.

this logo is a relic straight out of the '98 cold blue technorific corporatism. trying to conceptualize anything pleasant around it is becoming a major headache.

i had an "ass logo" thread about this same issue a few months ago.. was lots of replies, too bad its gone.
same situatioin, but i ended up pitching my print concepts with their crap logo, and duplicates using a quickie logo "update" (redesign) that i invested a few hours into.
trick was telling them it was an update and not redeisgn.
all said and done, they liked the new logo, and i was able to bill them a few xtra hun$ for my time. win win.

make the logo look even more shittier by roducing great work around it. then maybe the client will agree with you and get you to change it.
it's no good moaning if you haven't got a solution.
