Fucking hell, I nearly went blind when that crazy green filled my screen. Then I shut it.

Funny, just last night I checked this site out after reading the liner notes to a Spiritualized album and it hadn't yet launched.

that site is making me angry for a couple reasons;
1. pop-up resize. fuckthatshit
2. waaaaaaaaay long load time for a portfolio
3. the navigation and mouse dirctional scrolling just get's me angry every time i see it used on the internet.

The site is frustrating.
The work is outstanding.

pretty nice for a power point presentation.

only looked at it for a few seconds so far, because I'm backed up with work, but from what I see, it's lovely work-- no conclusions about the site yet

looks like the same peeps that designed the hacienda sneaker...

I just threw my monitor.

I haven't seen a popup site in a while.

ach its farrow innit, nice photos of nice work, who needs more from it?

gotta love the work!

It's probably ace for people who don't want to spend their time wading through design portfolios, trying to find a suitable candidate to make their record cover. That said, I'd really ditch the landing page and popup - I waited for around 10 seconds, thinking "Phatlee wouldn't link to a popup site, would he? Not in this day and age, surely?". I was wrong.
I'd also tie the control bounds of your info page to the black edges and not the screen edge - for comfort's sake, if nothing else. Personally, that is.
Otherwise, I agree with Mimio.

1) Plenty of yellow!
2) Awful lot of Pet Shop Boys. May turn interesting people off.
3) Why use Flash, and then choose such a boring font and plain treatment?
4) All that work, and all those clients, and this is the most interesting shit they have?
- kelpie0
considering they have only just got around to this after years of waiting for it, are never short of work (I'd guess) and the boss fits pretty neatly into the 'legend' category, I suspect this may be a half arsed afterthought. Whaddaya reckon? ;)

"2) Awful lot of Pet Shop Boys. May turn interesting people off." AndyRoss
I for one hate the Pet Shop Boys, but I do respect their efforts - I see them as people who [*shudder*] 'try to push the envelope' in design and media terms (despite staying firmly entrenched in the awful cum-encrusted remnants of 80s flat electro pop).
(I'm not for one moment trying to pass myself off as an 'interesting person'.)

"awful cum-encrusted remnants of 80s flat electro pop"
anyone who'd come up with that phrase is a pretty good bet for interesting, imo

very lovely, very boring, makes me never want to work for an agency.

My eyes are so fuckin sore now!
The yellow combined with lack of sleep and a weekend on the piss in London has detached my retinas and my helper monkey is now typing while I dictate.
I love the manics stuff tho had most of em when they were released.

- hate pop-ups (especially when the entire site is within a pop-up).
- takes a long time to load
- navigation is weird the first time seeing / using it, but it's okay (I appreciate the attempt).Overall, there's isn't much to critique.

great restrained work as usual, site isn't too bad either...
