I am real hesitant about being an advocate for a politician, but the damn guy keeps saying things that i agree with 100%.

What dobs said.
I am not familiar with him - but that was a really interesting interview with maher.
I seem to recall him being on the Daily Show too recently...
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.Is is also however, anti-abortion rights, so...no.

I think he believes it should be left up to the individual states
- jevad0

Um..more interesting reading:
http://dneiwert.blogspot.com/200…
"Ron Paul has made a career out of transmitting extremist beliefs, particularly far-right conspiracy theories about a looming "New World Order," into the mainstream of public discourse by reframing and repackaging them for wider consumption, mostly by studiously avoiding the more noxious and often racist elements of those beliefs. Along the way, he has built a long record of appearing before and lending the credibility of his office to a whole array of truly noxious organizations, and has a loyal following built in no small part on members of those groups."

morilla
(Jun 12 07, 13:58)and that would be a very, VERY scarry thing to have realized.

that's how it is now isn't it?
- version30
who can really trust a politician with a youtube profile?
- johndiggity0
i just want a flat tax. not much to ask for.
- intransit0
pro choice or not - it is just a tactic used to swing votes. after election time you never hear of the subject again.
- madirish0
absolutely dude.
i was actually speaking of some more pertinent issues- ie: immigration, defense, and health care that would prove to be ir-reversable.
the individual state is a horrible line of defense in leu of a country.
- TheBlueOne0
i think my political tendencies are fairly well known here, and I wouldn't vote for a single one of those Republican cocksuckers, and vote with my nose held closed for a handful of the Dems.
The only Repub. who'd I'd respect and vote for but isn't running (as of yet) is Hagel...

(Jun 12 07, 13:59)yep!
plus i find it hysterical that there's even an abortion debate in this country. until birth control is free and accessible to everyone, everywhere, they can shove their pro-life argument right up their arses.

On a political note - a really good podcast I downloaded and listened to on my commute home the other day:
- mrdobolina0
John, who is running on the flat tax platform?
- TheBlueOne0
John, who is running on the flat tax-I-will-never-be-elected-
in-the-US-of-A platform?
