my parents bought the building as a shell in the early 80s for well under 100k. When my Dad died in 1995 we sold our modest house a mile away and built a living space in what had been his undeveloped studio. My mother otherwise couldn't have afforded to stay there. My mother lives in the lower part of the building with a different entrance. The entrance to our part of the building is from that patio area.

I would gladly live with Rand's mom, if it meant I could live in that building.

in self defense, it's 2 separate spaces, with separate entrances
not to be overly defensive or anything
- mrdobolina0
rand, you got nothing to worry about.
- joyride0
yeah, no worries rand, it's a sweet place, enjoy it.

What is it with BBQ's?
At any other meal time, one piece/type of meat will suffice - come BBQ season and I'm not satisfied until all the meat is gone, even if my intestine is knotted for the next 3 days it will be worth it.

living with mom = cookies, milk and pie galore ;)
- Jaline0
aw, pascii, really? cute.
I want some milk and cookies too.
P.S. I love how I never have to cook because my parents do it. My mom and I fight all the time, which sucks, but I have to live with it for now. I know how to cook, by the way, I just don't have to do it everyday.

milk and cookies.... : )
i was raised by my grandparents 'til i was 13. My grandmother was the worst cook in the history of cooking : ) she used to put heinz ketchup on the spaghetti and the meat was grilled to coal or leather. when my father married my stephmother, i finally was introduced to "food = fun"
milk and cookies was the only thing my gm didn't ruin...
