I just heard that the EU domain e.g. www.site.eu is growing fast... you think it's worth having? i.e. changing a company URL to www.site.eu ??

I wouldn't necessarily change it over completely, but if I was doing business on the continent in any way, or could conceive of doing so in the near future, I would get one in addition to my normal one.
a.k.a. 'yes'.

Aye I hear that...
It was my MD who just asked me - wants to change the entire group of companies (of which my wee company are but 1 of 12) to "live" under 1 name, and running from a .eu domain name.
I'm undecided, but it doesn't seem as "faddish" as other url endings I can think of...

(Jun 4 07, 06:36)i wouldn't consider an .eu domain 'faddish' in any way. just my opinion, but i think nairn nailed it.

i guess it depends on the activity - a pharmaceutical group (or a more social target-market) wouldn't look so strange in a .eu domain as, say, a violin maker with a wooden leg.
