My dad had it, unfortunately, his was brought on by Asbestos so his life was greatly shortened. In general, it can be managed. If memory serves, I believe there's two different kinds, one that eventually just stops growing/spreading and one (like my father's) that continues. I'm sure there's lots of resources on the net about it... there was a lot back when I was researching his.

Cheers guys, I know it was a long shot as only about 1-2 in 100,000 get this but theres little info out there on it and it really fucks you up. Anyway best of luck Canuck hope you get better bro.. really makes you think about your lifestyle and how fragile your body is....treat it with respect... no more drinking for me boo hoo :(

Bit of long shot but anyone had it / got or have friends or family with it.
Just got diagnosed with it and am wondering what works as there is no proven cure
