I've done megabus 'Birmingham to london' a few times, used to be quite pleasant, ie about 6 people on the whole bus and nearly as quick as the virgin trains, what with their obligatory 30min delay.
Was very busy the last few times I did it tho and then they swaped the route so it went via someplace else.
Always fancied trying to survive the ordeal of 13hours to scotland...

Kon; Megabus up the A9 is an experience best left for sociopathic extreme sports enthusiants and the mono-browed underclass - its a nice train ride, I'd go that way (though I dare say it'll be stowed with your fellow festival goers), plus you can get utterly cunted and not worry about driving back down the most dangerous A road in Britain afterwards.

if i end up going then train it will be. the dangerousness of the road and the all-over-body-tiredness after a festival IS a scary combination. id be driving back on my tod (if driving) as the mate im possibly going with will just be training it back to aberdeeen.
ive got the opportunity to do some discjockeying at it :) so i really wouldnt mind motivating my lazy ass up there.

that's how I know about the Sheep Shagger's Gold. I was at the teuchter's food fair in Inverurie on the weekend, trying to educate the teuchters that not all vegetables are neeps.
