hey pips.
going to Roma next month, for 3 days. So, I'm looking for cool things to do, apart from going to the colosseum and the vatican, the obvious stuff. Like, cool bars, nice gigs, any hidden events, cool restaurants, galleries, design related stuff maybe, anything you think it's worth doing!
Any ideas welcome!
PS. Budget but modest hotels & B&B also wanted!

walking distance to the colosseum and near to main train stations and short hop on bus/underground train to vatican city.Room was spacey, and nearby restaurants were lovely.

Gucci, check out The Westin excelsior. Stayed there briefly last year. One of the most pleasant hotels I've been in.
(would suggest this to thread starter also, but it's not a b&b)

Visiting the catacombs was one of the coolest thing I did last time I was there.

Do reenactments of scenes from "La Dolce Vita" and "Roman Holiday"
Many of which require buzzing around on a scooter. :)

Roma is the museum city... you will never run out of things to see and do.
