anybody know if these typefaces are out on the market? where to buy?
I dug around their site as best I could with my mediocre Spanish, but couldn't find a download/buy option. But it's late, and I just might be an idiot.

ive emailed them several times - no response. i also read somewhere that they're not going to make them available to purchase, to keep them exclusive or some rubbish :)
would love to be able to buy them!

Same here..I've emailed them a few times..even once in spanish..and have received no response. Wankers.
- oldelpaso0
well it looks like some ppl stil do it for the love of the craft - not the monaaay :D

thanks guys – I guess if they want to keep them as conceptual typeface designs only, then there's no need to set them free – but are they really a part of the design universe if they're not allowed into the mix? Maybe they haven't spent the time building in the kerning details, or they're otherwise incomplete...
Well, on to some other options then. I'm sure somebody wants my money.

i think they are used commercially. plenty shots of them being used in print on their site anyway.
- oldelpaso0
they might be custom made jobs for clients
the shots could just be unusual type spec sheets
or they dont feel like having their fonts ripped all over the place.
The Foundry is pretty tight on their fonts like that
(although theres a crap bucket with most of them floating around on the interweb)

If I remember correctly some of their typefaces are being released this year, probably through Fontshop or one of the larger distributors. Ask Typographica, he might know more.

(Jun 4 07, 08:40)Um, ok.
Typographica, do you know more?
- 5timuli0
You know, I could've just dreamt the whole thing...
...but I'm pretty sure I've seen Quixote on another website in a 'future releases' section. I've checked my bookmarks and drawn a blank though.

yeah, I emailed them for more info but no response. I don't really care if they choose not to sell them, but a polite email saying so would have been nice... bitches.
- TheBlueOne0
If they're not offering them for sale why do they have a type tester there? Just to be text-teasers? That's cold man. Stone cold.

There are couple of reasons why Iñigo Jerez may not be responding to your requests:
1. He doesn't know yet how the typefaces will be distributed.
2. He be confident enough about his English to respond.
I can't say much, but I do know he's considering releasing the faces through a Spanish type foundry and you can bet I'll do my best to make them available to an international audience.
