Corrupted Font?

    So a client sends me Scott Venus (from linotype) via FTP and its file size is 0k. He then sends a zip of the whole folder and when I unzip it, the fonts are still 0k except the .AFM files which are still unreadable. Is it something on his mac thats corrupting the fonts?

    I'm on OSX 10.4.9 and fontbook does not see the fonts nor does ATM on a PC. WTFont is going on?? tyi
