i thought you sent the fonts with the files..?
like with indesign if you select package then it makes a really neat folder with fonts, picture links, inDesign cos, Pdfs and printing instructions all ready to send.
with quark im not sure..
just send the fonts over
also printers withOUT helvetica????? where have they been?

yeah, wtf? They should have the font, but you should always sent your fonts along your files when sending to a printer.

maybe I'm missing something. isn't it as easy as file/collect for output?
that will be everything they could ever need for the file.

sorry, i don't speak italian..
a hack way around this would be:
write a PDF to 100%, open PDF in Illustrator, delete all elements but the type, convert type to outlines, import Illy doc into Quark image box...
what an effing PIA, Quark is no good :(

Repeat, do not use text to box function, repeat!
Just collect it all up.

i thought he needed outlines for a specific purpose, not to send to a vendor... lame!
