Damn it, my GF and I have reservations to camp this weekend at a really nice place in Wisconsin. Three nights, not been in a couple years, can't wait to cook steaks, breakfast, all that stuff. Great mt. biking trails there, can rent canoes as well.
We got the reservations back in February because the good spots go fast early in the year.
Just looked at the weather and all weekend it's going to be thunderstorms and rain all weekend.... F!!!!!
First time we tried to go we got rained out. Second time, I had to go to Texas suddenly. Third time, we cancelled and went to Aruba instead (OK, can't really complain there...) and this is our fourth time. What a royal screw!

Alternate plan is now much needed band practice. We have a show in two weeks and have practiced twice in the last 2 1/2 months.
But still going to grill out this weekend! Big porterhouse steaks marinated in a great wheat beer from Wisconsin.

hey mg we just booked a camping trip to wisconsin ourselves. aug 10-12 though on some river canoe trip thingy.
if it rains we're fucked too.
hopefully it will be a warm rain that you can still kinda be out in, not a chilly driving rain that washes all the scum of the earth (most people in wisconsin) out into the streets.
