PS Vector Question

  I have paths as solid colors in a layer in one PS document.

  How do I copy that layer into a new document EXACTLY as it is?

  Seems I'm screwing up something and it's only bringing the paths in and not the vector fill color.

  Do you have a shape layer? is that what you mean? If so you just drag that layer into the new document.
