  does anyone know where I can check an apple part by it's serial number?

  Strange request I know but I am trying to find a replacement keyboard and accompanying case (speakers/powerbutton/tracker pad) on my 17" powerbook.

  I have found said replacement but there is no reference to the size of powerbook it is for. So I was wondering if there were apple heads that would be able to shed some light on it for me!

  The part number is - S20-3030-A

  ....don't think I should hold my breath for a reply - but you never know do you?
