(May 24 07, 08:22)I definitely go for that as well. But I'm really into unique names, so it would have to be different. Going for different cultures works well.
What's unfortunate now is that so many celebs are naming their children ridiculous names, so that when you name your child a name that no one has ever heard before (but has actually been around for a long time but it's more unique), people think you can just trying to be trendy.

thanks J! we were having a hard time because Spencer and Kaliea (that's us) couldn't have a baby named Susan or Jennifer. hopefully she wont hate us for giving her an unusual name that no one seems to pronounce properly.

you're welcome, sputnik :)
You know...you have a pretty nice and unique name that I have never heard before.
Okay, maybe it's only unique to me.

Jezebel sounds beautiful but might be a bad idea, unless you're ok with naming your daughter after a villainous queen who was thrown out of a window and eaten by dogs...

(May 24 07, 08:41)Whatever you wanna call it, I was intending to open a can of Biblical worms. It's just that she was the only well-known person to ever have that name.
Sorta like naming one's child Beelzebub might be a bad idea. That's all I was saying...
geesh

*I mean I WASN'T intending. Ahem.
