We used to play this game called "trench" that I've not heard of duplicated elsewhere - alot like dodgeball, except once you get hit, you go behind the baseline and if a ball gets in there, you can hit someone on the other team to get back in the game . . .

i played kickball with a bunch of 4th graders today. it was hilarious.

in high school our gym teacher was certifiably crazy. eventually he'd go from half-court, to free-throw line, to opposite baseline on the basketball court, which pretty much was a free for all slugfest.
the best part though was the girls looker room was only accessable from entering the gym, so they'd have to walk in the side door and walk half court to their door. every time they came in during the game we'd nail the shit out of them. class.
