Longer Load in Europe

This could come off as sounding ridiculous but would our company site take alot longer to load in Europe?
We just relaunched our new site and our CEO is showing it off right across the pond.
He says it loads extremely slow, video isn't working well and he's on a T1.
Any idea what the cause could be?
thanks

well, we only have hot running water in the summer, so your question isn't that ludicrous...

Europe is experiencing heavy electricity outages at the moment which in turn is affecting internet connections. It's caused by particle accelerators sending huge jolts of power into domestic power lines. These knock the electricity back into its wild state, which is much heavier due to flattened electrons. The devastating result is that huge masses of heavy electricity start randomly falling out of wires and crashing onto anything below.

It just might be early enough, BlueJam, that I'd buy that.

If you're in Europe right now, would you mind testing out the site and reporting what you experience. Especially with load time and video play.

...bit jerky here :-(
(sorry for telling you that!)I'm using osX and both safari and ff.
...on an adsl connection - which might explain the jumpiness.

Thanks all. One last question. You on wireless or hard wired.
A couple people in our company said they tested outside this building on their wireless and it ran like shite.

my processors are between 80-100% when not interacting with the site. as soon as i go over the scroll they are maxing out. check yr intervals and make sure unused ones are cleared.

just back from lunch, some idiot tried to run me down in one of those new fangled horseless carriages Ive heard so much about!
lighting seems to have stopped though, I put it down to the ginger haired virgin we burnt at the sake to satisfy Gods anger.
