David... your photos are amazing!
The bug close-ups are unreal, what lens did you shoot those with?
Awesome work!

thanks!
just a Digital Rebel with the kit lens (taken a couple of years ago) - those ef lens have an insane close focusing. i can't even imagine how close you could get with an actual macro lens
i'm also on flickr - all my photos are geotagged so you see where i took them

- _niko0
- Shit, you just reminded me that I need to pick up my beaver.2cents
- everyone does that now though, so it would be better to go against it.Jaline
- I mean...not "better", but more uncommon.Jaline
- my beaver needs a good shaveoozie
- who is "everyone"?madirish
- most women.Jaline
- maybe it's the media. nevermind.Jaline
- "most women" you say? hmmmm....madirish
- madirish0
when does this start? i would like to think it has been going on since i have been here..... no?
- oozie0
canada is on cannabis day...ironic eh?
- Fanco0
i think its stupid that people in québec celebrate canada day by moving into a new place. sure it involves swearing, beer and pizza. but still.
i rather be around a bbq, friends and beer.
not boxes, old tenant's crap and beer.- well, it's because most Quebecers don't really give a shit about Canada dayal_la
- madirish0
note: i have not ever been to a "timmy h's" in my life.... not even while on canadian soil.
- do it.Jaline
- no-can-domadirish
- why not?Jaline
- let's get something straight, you can only refer to it as Tim's or Timmy's that's it. not Tim Horton's, T.H or Timmy H's_niko
- I mean WTF is timmy h's?_niko
- hahahaJaline
- and why the hell is it called that anyway? was that a famous canuckian or something?madirish
- famous hockey playersikma
- hockey playerJaline
- FFS... of COURSE he was!
lolmadirish - :)Jaline
- Full name was Miles Gilbert "Tim" Horton...
Thank Gawd we don't go to Miles or Gilbert Horton's for coffee!ETM
- Glitterati_Duane0
Don't go to Tim's man. I still haven't figured out why people here love that shit so much lol.
- its not the greatest but it beats your average gas station coffee hands downsikma
- I guess. I'm not into coffee that much so it's all the same to me. But everyone that I know says it's low grade stuffGlitterati_Duane
- Timmy's is the best we have for certain things though. It's not that bad.Jaline
- They lace the coffee with crack. Plus you can get decent food for cheap. When you travel here, you can ALWAYS find one.ETM
- one. It's mandatory that any gathered population of more than 500 has their own Tim's. :)ETM
- Glitterati_Duane0
And I've lived in Canada for 8 years...
- _niko0
It's not the coffee, it's the memories of stopping in on a freezing January morning on the way back from the rink with your old man.
- I don't like hockey so I guess that explains it lol.Glitterati_Duane
- canuck0
Anyone have any plans ?
- 2cents0
Don't do it Matt, that shit is swill.
- Ontarians love the crap and swear by it. But once they leave the Province they realize that there are much better options.2cents
- I guess it's still big in Alberta when I was there in December. Lines ups just as bad for it.canuck
- come to the maritimes and you will see what timmy's meansoozie
- It's awesome for hot chocolate. Trust me. I don't drink coffee or tea though.Jaline
- I used to drive 8mins to college, and pass 3 Timmy's on the way there. Good old S. Ontario.2cents
- Tims isn't very good at all. But growing up in small town ontario it becomes a staple.canuck
- Ok I gotta Back you up on that one Jaline. I get hot chocolates from there all the time.Glitterati_Duane
- I just got into the Tea biscuits too lol.Glitterati_Duane
