kelpie, I signed off of AIM for like 2 weeks (it could not have even been that long) and by the third day people were calling me to see if everything was alrite, and other people were calling my family when I would not pick up my phone and stuff.
The constant ability for contact is kind of scary sometimes, but also kind of reassuring that if I did die ... someone would notice.
Because I did not put up an away message informing them.
