I'm trying to explain and introduce the marketing peepz here at work to the world of design and print. After a few projects and quotes they were made fun of, they are realizing it's not as easy as using Photoshop and voila!
Today's chapter is printing.
You guys have any good and simple sites that I can share with them regarding printing 4color process, 6 color process, PMS, CMYK, etc? Thanks.

Will there be a mutual exchange of knowledge? Will you be taken to the marketing dept. next week and learn all the difficulties of marketing stuff?
*guffaws silently into coffee mug
"Um yeah, Jake, I see your numbers there for the April report. Can we make those numbers somehow, you know, bigger?"

haha, they're gonna show me how to use the new cover sheet for the TPS reports. ;)
I think this is a good step towards collaboration and understanding that what we do as designers is just more than play around in PS and use Impact for presentations. Besides it would make my job easier.

I know that Mohawk Papers has a pretty comprehensive guide called PrePress. It's covers the stages from "design to printed piece and beyond". It's free to order as a paper sample from their site http://www.mohawkpaper.com/
Free shipping too, took about a week but, hey, it's free, right?
