it is a "flashback from wayback".
and your guess is pretty spot-on, its a version of konspiracy from back in 2003.i wanted to do a may1st reboot and wanted a way to present a portfolio, dailly blog, photos, music etc and reverted back top this old way as it all worked well for me. so wanted to go back to it but improve on it.
the record-shop interaction is the same but i can now put up new tracks much easier and the blog part of the site can be updated in a few clicks.
the main part of this new site is the portfolio section.
do you not like this old version qruise?
i think it still stands up pretty decent for a design/functionality that is over 3-4 years old. na?

nah its cool, i dont mind the crit.
i know that it works for me and still is fresh nearly 4 years later (i think) and i know that ive made it easier to update and showcase my portfolio.
id went without a live folio for years and gave people pelters for their designs on here in the past with nothing to backup my own worth with. now i do.some people will like it.
some people will dislike it.
but the main thing is .... im happy with it :Pthe noticeboard part of the site will be coming down though, this is the only part that hasnt had an update. i was going to turn that into a .fla or "toy" download area. just havent had the time yet.

this qruise guy is a total prick. every thread he starts is hating on someone else's hard work.
the guy is obviously a failed designer that hates to see everyone else being creative and getting paid to work.

cheers, yeah it does the trick for me without having to do much to do updates :)putting it all together though has got me into the mood of doing something different.
