if you're not a VAT registered, and your client lives in another EU country - i.g. you're in italy, the client in the UK - what about taxes? any invoice template for this case?

Why not check there? Honestly, even if you do get a proper answer here - I wouldn't rely on any message board for tricky questions such as taxes working internationally, because the smallest mistake could turn big...! Just a heads up.
