sure it's OK for white people to say "word"... black people don't say it anymore so it's available without repercussions! :D
no but seriously, the only people I know that do use that term are white. go figure...
- Crouwel0
Don't black people have English lessons or learn to spell at all?
Surely they must use the word "word" every now and then.
i just did in that sentence.
- Point50
true Crouwel, but since you just brought that logic to my attention, I am now going to do my best to use these synonyms http://thesaurus.reference.com/b…

Colloquy Point 5! Scuttlebutt of mouth has it that Microsoft Discourse can handle a great amount of utterances per document!

Dbase4 to you too, sir.

I think its perfectly acceptable if its used in conjunction with '...to your mamma!'
Then you can politely ask the DJ to 'spin that shit'.
How about 'g-money' is it ok to use that?
For instance in a client meeting, calling the head of marketing 'g-money' can only be a good thing right?

"Word" in the slang sense is not used very much anymore. I guess some people realized that only douchebags still use that word. Either way, it's a very awkward thing to say, imo.
Whenever I try to be ghetto my sisters laugh at me and set me straight. They're so ghetto.

I am and have been addicted to calling things "dope" for at least 20 years. I can't help it.

- ian0
Jaline, now I have cartman from southpark singing 'In the ghetto' in my mind...
What about 'homies' and 'dog' are they ok to use in client meetings?
Such as, on greeting a new client 'what up dog?' or referring to co-workers as 'my homies' or 'posse'
- ian0
Fo'shizzle.
Hmm, maybe I shouldn't talk to any clients this week...
- Jaline0
yeah, if you're Randy Jackson or Snoop Dogg.
- grunttt0
ian - you're correct to use all of the above examples. they will set up apart from the others and you'll quickly rise to the top of your company. i find it handy to throw in the occasional "motherfucker" to give emphasis. Such as "i know y'all were feeling those first 2 logo concepts but this motherfucker right here is going to blow your motherfucking mindz."
