I have nothing against Awe - i accept that we're still taking our first steps into the infinity of the future, so am quite happy that our scientific luminaries are amazed/confounded by what we can not yet understand.
I just don't need to invoke færies to fill in the gaps.
Curious. I recall pretty-much this exact-same exchange once beforehand.

Nairn: The only filling of the gaps that is happening is by materialists who insist we'll one day find some magical blind mechanism to account for code and machinery that in any other context we would attribute to an intelligent, cognizant entity. So you see, it's making a perfectly logical inference to say - "this was designed!"
And yes, we go in circles here because nobody listens. ;)

The end of speciation... who says it ended? Maybe we are just in a period of stasis. The last several thousand years are just a blink of the eye in deep-time terms. Or maybe the computer algorithm met it's predetermined goal with modern homo sapiens.
