curb dogs were rad. I dont have any of those videos. but I may have a line on them. A guy I used to ride with owns a bar in el barrio here now, might be worth a trip to see.
So this was like 20 years ago when those vids came out, all other vids had dudes with frosted hair and pastel bikes and Vander and those guys were riding completely different shit and looked like they should have been at Juvi Hall.
Never will forget the vid of some contest where this skater kid told them they could trash his car but leave the windows.
So some kids come thru from Santa Cruz and just destroy this kids car, windows and all. Never will forget the kid who owned the car "Wreck the body, but dont wreck my feckin' windows, then the kids from Saaaaaanta Cruz come thru and fecking thraaaash it"

I used to race bikes!
I used to rock a pink GT because I was so gangster, haha.
I then bought a Robinson Pro with money I made from selling drugs!
Man I loved riding bikes, however, it never transcended into like motorcycles, haha.

My first "real" bike was a pastel lavendar Kuwahara, with white peregrine twist mags.
It was 85, everyone had those fruity colored bikes.

That Hutch Pro Star, that Jeremy over there has, in my opinion is the best dirt track frameset of it's time. I had one for a while but sold it for a Bully when I got into street riding.

Am I being an old bitter fart, but I rarely if ever see kids out and about doing stuff anymore...
The only time we wouldn’t be out having fun would be when it was pouring rain, and even then that didn’t stop us often.
