My Adobe Bridge has stopped working all of a sudden. It just doesn't open, or better to say, it looks like is opening but the windows never appear.
I just installed the new security update from apple. Can that be the problem?
Any of you is having the same issue.
I am running mac OS 10.4.9 and CS2.
Thanks

can u reinstall bridge?

I installed the 10.4.9 update and it messed up my computer big time, it crashed all Adobe apps. Tried to reinstalled them but nothing worked. had to reinstall everything from scratch. And haven't updated the OS again, working on 10.4.8
A friend of mine had the same issue.
It might be update

Crap, that's what I suspected. Since my photoshop has started to misbehave too.
How can I downgrade to 10.4.8 without much fuss?
Thanks Sooz

U can either erase your hard disk and installed the original OS that came with your computer (I did that and it's a hassle and painful, backing up files and reinstalling and updating all your apps)
Or you can make a clean install (it creates a new System Folder and removes the previous System Folder) I am not sure if this option will work. My friend did this option, haven't ask him if it worked.

Thanks Sooz. I will go with the clean install. Wish me luck.

this update does have some issues with Bridge.
have you shut down the puter since you have updated??
ever since this last update [10.4.9] on Intel macs, Bridge seems super sluggish and when the initial opening of the App, it takes a few minutes.
i have yet to see a fix.
