Does anyone know if it's possible to change the orientation of one page within a multiple page Indesign document? IE... a 20 page document set at 8.5X11, one of the 20 pages set at 11X8.5.
Is it possible? If so, how?

just rotate the content? i don't see how you could rotate just one page, it would have to be 2.

It's not a document that will ahve side by side pages.
I know I can rotate the content but was hoping I would be able to rotate teh actual page so it would be easier to use/update.

create a new horizontal master page and insert that?

How do you create a horizontal Master?

That is one of the problems with all Adobe software using pages and master pages. They bought Macromedia so hopefully one of these days they'll get smart enough to take those functions from Freehand and add them to Illustrator and Indesign.
From what I can see you can't just turn one page in a multi-page doc. Maybe create a new single page doc and make it landscape.

Just looked in the guide:
"...you can't mix page sizes and page orientations in a file."
So yeah, looks like multiple files for you.
Or hope they addressed that in CS3 lol.

they don't mention it specifically, but our paging guru says it's possible.

If you can't wait and have to have this it is possible with the help of Pariah Burke. It's not too expensive but it aint free either...
Here is the link to a plug-in he developed.
