ok, this show still hasnt been released on DVD because of some bullshit legal matter over securing some music rights. SIGH.
the question is, how can some tv stations continue to syndicate reruns without probs, but the damn thing cant get put on dvd?

You can't even get legal DVDs of Batman, The Odd Couple and until this year, Get Smart. Those shows are a lot older.

My lucky 18 months of free basic cable just ended, but I have some new channel that has the Wonder Years. That at least makes me happy, and if I get to soon see the episode where Kevin catapults the mashed potatoes into Wayne's face I'm gonna be real happy.
