has this been out in the UK yet? How does it compare to Shaun f The Dead? I watched that and Spaced all day yesterday and laughed so fucking hard....

It's ok. Not as good as Sean of the Dead or the genius that is spaced but worth seeing. I still find Mark Frost funnier than Pegg but the two of them together is always a treat.

Not so great if you have already seen shaun of the dead. Very funny if you haven't.
Guess your fucked though.
- jevad0
hahahaha
Pegg & Frost are the new Smith & Jones....
still looking forward to it...

ees'a pretty funny - not laugh out aloud, like spaced. More whimsical and chuckleworthy, like Shaun.
Very English.

(Apr 16 07, 14:25)I ot that impression - Pegg's stuff always is - a la Shaun...which is why I was surprised it's on general release over here - bu then Shaun of The Dead did really well over here so I guess that's why...hope it does well...

I'm going to watch it soon.
Looks like you could have a good time watching it.

I thought this thread was about something else.
- Nairn0
sadly not, morilla.
though..

I'd be surprised if it did well with the general populace in the States as it's a lot more parochial than Shaun - purposefully, obviously.
I'm just not sure our Yankee cousins would see the humour.
- skt0
They might as well give it a go though. It already made far more money in the UK than they thought it would.

I really liked Shaun of the Dead, and usually I don't watch stuff like that.

im probably on eof the few that thinks that hot fuzz is better than shaun O'dead..
its obviously higher budget, and WAAAAY more graphic, but the plot is a bit more fun the action scenes are more intense and funnier.. some of the jokes arent quite as spaced like..but the cocnepts of the movie is a bit more involving that a stereotypical slapstick zombie movie with some funny remarks..
but shaun was nowhere near spaced.. (+i was always a fan of BigTrain) :)

its funny,
those two work really well togheter.Shawn was better tho, but i have a weakness for zombies...

I LOVED this movie. I thought it was better than Shaun of the Dead, which I also liked a lot. Highly recommended piece of film.

lol nic! i saw it saturday and when we were walking out of the theatre were saying that we could watch it again immediately.
i loved shaun but i did think this one was better. both films have a bit about jumping fences but the one in fuzz just about killed me :)
- Jaline0
I'm possibly watching it tonight.

I saw it this weekend with my woman and love it. She liked it OK, but she's never seen Point Break or most of the other buddy cop movies that inspired it.
Interestingly it was preceded with a trailer for this:
http://imdb.com/title/tt0425413/…Never heard of it, but looks like it's worth keeping an eye on.

I haven’t seen Shaun of the Dead, but this looks like it would be funny.
Perhaps I should try that out first.
Horror stuff is not up my alley at all.
The scariest movie I have ever seen has been Scary Movie.
Ah thank you.
