Ah well, if nothing else, this shows a nice comparison of the two sites' sample pages.

is there a similar version somewhere for free ?
this is a little mexican resturant that is married to that font and i need to redo a bunch of there stuff
- Typographica0
No. It's a commercial typeface designed by a talented artist who I happen to know. He happens to want a few dollars for his work, just like you.

i completely understand that im not asking for "HIS" font for free simply one that mimicks it

hahaha, just keep pouing salt in the wound traut.

surely the job can absorb a $40 expense?
- traut0
if it wasnt for some cheap ass client i would have no problem dropping 50$ on the font, just like when i need a font for personal use i dont mind jumping on veer and buying a 90$ font for myself, i understand time and effort went into creating the font i also realize lots of people create free fonts that look alot like it.

Sounds like you have to trace it.

find something less horsey altogether than still has a festive feel. Can't hurt to try, especially if you're re-doing everything else.

i'll figure it out, they have a signage in that font and want everything to have that font but they can not supply me with a high res logo one of those types of clients.
