the devil and daniel johnston (I think it's titled), is a good documentary if you haven't seen it.

- harlequino0
hi how are you?

his hands were constantely shaking due to his illness/prescription drugs (?) he couldn't really play the guitar himself, but it was absolutely beautiful.

he played guitar for one or two songs, afterwards, the band took over and he sang, using the mic for support

poor dude has had it rough .. i love his hyper-calm moment in the documentary ..

i have a similar condition as my hands shake, i have a hyper thyroid and my metabolism is ultra fast thus i have a tremmor in my hands. the narcotics out there are extremely addictive and have a ridiculous amount of side effects that cause worse things to the body then the shaking itself.
i had this condition since i was born and each year it gets noticibily worse.
i hope i can still design and work continiously as i fear my condition will surly cause my career some serious damage.
its sad to hear of other people who go thru the same or similar un-controlable body functions such as what i go thru on a daily basis.
for me, i am ok with it, others see it as a weakness, or perceive me to be something that which i am not.
makes me a stronger designer, since i have to constantly find new ways to figure the design process with my disability.
most people in the design community have it made, with stable hands able to hold a ruler, or an XATCO blade, 2 things i personally can not do.
im jealous of a lot but happy i can show who i am as an artist...
thanks for listening!!!
:)
- and even with that condition look where you are at.studderine

wow. no wonder.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry to hear about that.

thanks for telling e, good to hear how postive you deal with something like that
- e-pill0
thanks guys...my biggest fear is that one day everything i have will stop because i cant control the shaking of my hands.
i refuse to take the meds because it has such a nasty amount of side effects that do more damage to the body then being without it. plus its addictive, something i do not need.
its hard to deal with most times, it gets very difficult to just do the basic normal things everyone take for granted like holding a cup of water, brushing my teeth, tieing my shoes, buttoning my shirt...
all in all it doesnt hold me back. im happy at least i can use my tallents and show the world who i am.
:)
