Need a hub for more usb connections - any recommendations?
- k0na_an0k0
No recommendation but if you do get one get a powered one. They typically have faster speeds than a non-powered plugin hub. At least that's what I was told.
Are there any on the Apple Store site?

If you have the cash and do not have an external/backup hard drive yet this might be an option.

Hard drive and powered USB hub in one.

barstard, I already have a drive...I like my drive too though!

unpowered sometimes dont have enough power (who'd have thought so) to get an external drive (2.5") running.
my small HD only runs on the built in USB, not on the HUB

yeah, i need a hub just for ipod, camera, phone, wacom small stuff
- tomkat0
anything that is self powered will run fine
- Atkinson0
when you say self powered you mean one you don't have to plug in [to the wall]?
- tomkat0
self powered external devices will not cause a problem
ipod = selfpowered
external 2.5 HD = not
