considering the 5 hours sleep I've had in the past 2 days, I'm just happy I haven't walked into any oncoming traffic... but hey, spring has sprung over here and that in itself is enough to bring a smile to this Grinch's face...

i'm in a strangely good mood today, not hungover for a change, lots of freelance work coming in, some of it is even quite interesting.
but i'm about to call my bank and try to get them to replace all my cards and send them to america. my good mood will not last.

yeah, losing your wallet in america, with everything in it, whilst your bank is in the uk, and your meant to be hiring a car the next day, and you no longer have a liscence, is indeed a huge pain in the ass.

I have a wallette it's the first one I have ever owned, it is shite and falling apart a little bit and I hate using it but boy it makes me feel like one of the normals.

do you have any idea where you lost it? i know it seems daft, but sometimes it actually works to go back to the bar / call up the cab company, etc.
it's so distinctive and not all new yorkers are evil. you might actually get the wallet and cards and numbers back...
