you mean figuratively? because he obviously is a starting goalie.
He's been pretty great for not being a real startup goalie though. Just look at his stats.
I'm hoping he has what it takes to be in the playoffs again. We all know that Gerber sucks during the playoffs, and Emery is mainly not great with shootouts, so he has a real chance.

also, if Emery does suck, then all we need is our top scorers to keep getting multiple points.

Sabres have a good shot against NYI, but I'm hoping someone knocks them out sooner rather than later since they knocked Ottawa out last year...
