I'm finished with my dvd portfolio reel in the hope I can get a good job in a respectable agency.
I threw all images in Final Cut and added transitions all of which sums up to 5 minutes.
In order to save time I didn't use music to match the images displayed. Instead, now I'd like to ask you for suggestions wether to use a loop or song with a variety of styles in it which might combine electronic, classic, pop, etc.
I really appreciate your input guys.

don't ever make a five minute reel, noboby watcesh it tillt the end..did u make a reel of you print work?or are you a motion designer?
- fake_it_up0
5 mins is loooong... id keep it around 1:30 - 2:30 max

Ok, agreed about the length.
It includes print and digital projects, no motion ones.
As far as music goes, should I go for some loop or do you have suggestions to keep the audience awake or something that could eventually enhance the overall look?
- tenpointtwo0
err... link broken.
- tank020
erm.why make a reel when there is no motion work in there?
for print its better if people can see it for longer than five seconds..
- tank020
but still..
where is it?

Thanks for your suggestions guys.

you can just drop those jpegs on a folder and send it to the agencies, if they like it and you have what they want, you'll get hired.
but i have seen reels of print work here at work and the good work is good work, if they're good theyre good, but, its not necesary, but it is your choice.
- myobie0
anyone seen the reel?

i think it's invisible
- tank020
