Both teams tried pretty hard.
I like making fun of the Leafs, and it sucks that their fate will ultimately be decided by the Islanders tomorrow! And the Isles have good enough players to beat Brodeur, I'm hoping.
You just have to have a desperate play.

Yeah, Detroit is good in their division, but overall they aren't as well-rounded as some of the other teams entering the playoffs now.
I'm still a bit angry with the fact that Hasek didn't follow the coach's instructions and stay out of the Olympics. That would've kept him healthy and good enough for the playoffs, instead of us having to play Emery, who didn't have much experience.
And of course, we didn't have a choice and had to trade Hasek after because of his nonexistent presence.

the islanders will not win today. The only way they have a chance if they dont play martin. The Devils offence is too strong. Plus if i was the coach why not go into the playoffs with a win in their last game.
As for the raptors they look good real good to go deep into the playoffs.

The Isles do have some great offensive players though, gotta admit. The Devils never have entertaining games, which sucks. So I'm hoping the game today is eventful, with the Islanders coming out on top.
moto, you're right about the coach wanting to go into the playoffs with a bang, but this is the Isles once chance to get into the playoffs. If they put their mind to it, they can win. They need this game.
