I use it at work all the time. It's a fanTAStic editor, but the build-in FTP kind of sucks.

I use pspad too, but after long hours of coding you realise that something like the zoomable-by-frames thing in notepad++ is something very very helpful. Pspad has great flexibility even so... hard to choose.
as to FTPing, i think the simple Filezilla is all you need. It's just one taskbar click away and it's wonderfully reliable.

FireFTP is the way to go if you're using Firefox. So useful.
http://fireftp.mozdev.org/hahaha, Witt, what're you going on about? You're an entertaining one.

I use SmartFTP, and it's OK, I guess. Filezilla's alright, too. I just like having the built-in FTP client so I can just hit Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save a copy to the web server, Alt+Tab to Firefox, then Ctrl+R to refresh the page. Sounds convoluted, but it's a snap when the FTP doesn't conk out. I really only ever use SmartFTP for mass transfers or images. InType looks interesting, though it's probably too early to rely on it.
I just bought Transmit for my Mac, and now I wish I had one at work. :(
